Judy's coaching process seemlessly integrates email, highspeed internet and one-on-one sessions- to your needs, geographic location and budget.
Coaching starts with a health history, and athletic performance history.
Underscoring Judy's commitment to maximizing YOUR performance- an initial staged lactate threshold(LT) test is conducted on a treadmill.
Additional performance testing in the athletic events relevant to a client’s discipline naturally are included in the training program. This may include a simulated time trial(TT) in the pool, a simulated TT on an outdoor bike with a power meter, or a treadmill TT at 5 or 10K race pace.
Performances in recent races is subsituted in place of the performance tests when available.
These tests, as well as the LT test described above can be done in person with Judy or the you can conduct them on your own and report the data back via email. These tests help plot athletic improvement during the course of the training program.
Once training hours, intensity levels and 'A races' have been determined, Judy designs a program just for you. This program may be 8 weeks to a first 5K or 24 weeks towards a first Ironman. The program may entail utilizing www.trainingpeaks.com - Which gives you access to weekly workouts and logs in your actual workouts for Judy’s review.
