Anyone serious about making a lasting change to their bodies- naturally will seek health information and coaching.

A person might consult a nutritionist or personal trainer to start an effective workout program or get healthy eating plan(s).

Often it seems that one actually knows what to do to lose weight- but one can’t halt their current habits.

Lifestyle therapy gets underneath the surface to the very source of what is driving your negative behavioral patterns and gives you the skills and tools needed to change your behaviors.

Now is the TIME for better health!

If you are feeling better about yourself and your life, there is less need to engage in negative behaviors.

Fewer negative behaviors free up the energy you need to start looking forward to your workouts. You might even surprise yourself by finding the energy for monitoring your food intake so that you are able to literally plot a course to lower weight!

My techniques are an intuitive mixture of Transpersonal Therapy, Buddhism, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Object-Relations Theory, Mind-Body Approaches, and Radical Self Acceptance Theory.

Being genuiniely understood by someone that wants to help is what Lifestyle Therapy is all about...

Thinking and BEING

Each one of us have patterns of negative, abusive thoughts about ourselves and the world. Many of us get so used to hearing the internal dialogue- that we no longer are consciously aware of it.

We find ourselves stuck in negative habits; over-eating, repeatedly engaging in unfulfilling relationships or some other manifestations of our outdated patern. Bringing awareness of how we talk to ourselves on the inside is one of the first objectives of LIFESTYLE THERAPY.

For instance, you come home from work exhausted and while you may know exactly what foods can help you lose weight- you find yourself eating a handful of crackers with some cheese with a buttered popcorn desert- Now since you have also eaten anything else you found in the kitchen, have a stomach ache along with shattered pride.

This only stokes your inner voice which proceeds to pummel your self esteem. Plainly you are a loser and will never be anything but a fat pig- So says the inner critic.

On and on it goes because we NEVER ask where that negative voice emanates.

It stops when you get a helping hand...
